布鲁克Hysitron PI 88是布鲁克公司生产的新一代原位纳米力学测试系统,其特点是系统设计高度模块化,后期可在已有系统上自行配置并拓展其他功能。

该系统通过视频接口将材料的力学数据(载荷-位移曲线)与相应SEM视频之间实现时间同步,允许研究者在整个测试过程中极其精确地定位压头并对变形过程成像。解决了传统纳米压痕方法,只能通过光学显微镜或原位扫描成像观察压痕前后的形貌变化,因无法监测中间过程,而最终对载荷-位移曲线上的一些突变无法给出解释甚至错误解释的问题。

PI 88安装于SEM,可以精确施加载荷,检测位移,在电镜下进行压痕、压缩、弯曲、划痕、拉伸和疲劳等力学性能测试;此外,通过升级电学、加热模块,还可研究材料在力、电、热等多场耦合条件下结构与性能的关系。
