《首届 Iolite 培训研讨会议通知》

2019年3月23日-24日，上海凯来仪器有限公司将在“广州”举办中国“首届 Iolite 培训研讨会议”，进行 iolite软件V3版本的系统培训和V4新版本介绍与研讨。

Iolite软件在处理LA-ICP-MS数据时具有卓越的性能。Iolite软件的开发人员在精简LA-ICP-MS的数据处理方面一直处于领先地位。Iolite较长的软件开发历史和同行业较高的认可度，使得iolite已逐步成为*效的数据工具和各领域的行业标准。

本次培训研讨会是上海凯来携手澳大利亚iolite在中国举办的首次培训会议，同时适合初学者和有经验的iolite使用者。培训及会议内容将涵盖基础知识，包括安装、导入数据、创建选择和计算结果，还将涵盖U-Pb DRS算法、Mapping数据成像和硫化物微量等。

Iolite基础知识 ，内容包括:

· iolite原理，历史以及常用术语

· 安装 iolite 3

· 如何导入不同仪器测试数据

· 导视查看数据

· 手动，自动编辑数据

· 如何运行Trace_Elements_IS DRS

· 结果可视化

· 如何使用 U-Pb DRS

Day 2  

使用iolite 软件完成LA-ICP-MS数据成像, 内容包括:

· 成像的不同选项(CellSpace 和From Selections)

· 覆盖外部图像的数据

· 生成剖面数据

· 生成伪-3D 图像

如何使用iolite 4:

· iolite 4沿用iolite 3 的理念

· iolite 4性能和优势

· 使用 iolite 4成像

如果时间允许培训会包括以下内容:

· 硫化物微量

· 自定义iolite

· 创建标准方法文件

· 创建批处理模板

· 提问和解答(提问数量由时间决定)

此次培训不能详细介绍的内容如下：

含普通Pb矿物的U-Pb数据处理 (将提供相关资料)

· 误差处理的详细攻略(提供资料中会有简要说明)

Workshop Description

Iolite, in conjunction with Shanghai Chemlab Laboratory Instrument Co., Ltd., will be holding an introductory workshop on iolite v3 and v4 on March 23rd and 24th.

Iolite is currently the industry standard for LA-ICP-MS data processing excellence. Iolite’s developers have continually led the way for LA-ICP-MS data reduction, with a long and esteemed peer-reviewed publishing history.

The workshop is suitable for beginners through to more experienced users, and will cover the basics including installation, importing data, creating selections and calculating results. It will also cover the U-Pb DRS and image creation.

Example datasets and trial licenses will be provided for the workshop, but participants are asked to bring their own laptop, laptop charger and mouse (using the trackpad can be exhausting after two days).

Training agenda

Day 1

Iolite basics, including:

· iolite’s philosophy, history, and commonly used terminology

· installing iolite v3

· How to import data from a range of instruments

· Navigating your data

· Creating selections, manually and using automatic methods

· How to use the Trace_Elements_IS DRS

· Visualising your results

· How to use the U-Pb DRS

Day 2

LA-ICP-MS Imaging using iolite v3, including:

· The different options for creating images (CellSpace vs From Selections)

· Overlaying your data on external images

· Creating profile data

· Creating pseudo-3D images

How to use iolite v4:

· Applying the concepts from iolite v3 to v4

· The advantages and new features of iolite v4

· Imaging in iolite v4

The following will be covered if time allows:

· Customising iolite

· Creation of Std Files

· Creating Processing Templates

· Question and Answer time (amount will depend on time allowed)

Things that will not be covered in the workshop in detail:

· U-Pb dating of common-Pb bearing minerals (further reading will be provided)

· A detailed walkthrough of error propagation (although a brief explanation will be provided along with resources for further study)

· Biolite and reconstructive 3D imaging (further reading will be provided)
