Misura® HSML
Heating Microscopes Misura® HSML are the result of
more than twenty years of research and development:
improved and developed to satisfy customers’ needs,
they have characteristics that make possible their use
out of classical boundaries of the heating microscopy.
Misura® HSML is useful to study the behaviour of
materials during firing cycles up to 30 °C and it is used
in the ceramics industry to study the softening of the
glazes and the sintering of ceramic body, in power
generation plants to study the fusibility of fuel ashes,
for the study of the powders for the continuous casting
of the steel and so on.
The analyses can be carried out on one, two, up to four
samples at the same time, to identify automatically:
characteristic temperatures: Sintering Beginning,
Softening, Sphere, Half Sphere, Melting;
fusibility according to International Standards;
flattening curve;
sintering rate of the materials;
contact angle curve;
sample area variation curve;
ratio curve between base and height;
bloating effects;
combustion;
theoretical viscosity;
surface tension at high temperatures.
