Our History and Achievements
1979 - Scientech was established in Taipei, Taiwan and was one the first few semiconductor equipment distributors in Taiwan. We began by selling Canon Aligner Lithography tools to major microchip manufacturers in Taiwan.
1980 - Scientech started to work with Ushio, offering high pressure mercury lamp to IC fabs.
1984 - Principal relationships were established with Tencor and VLSI.
1990 - Set up a branch office in Hsin-Chu to provide customer service in close proximity.
1999 - Scientech opened its Tainan and Linko offices, offering added sales and services to its customers in Tai-Nan and Linko’s Science-Based Industrial Park.
2000 -Scientech established its global network and tool refurbishment capability for Used Equipments to provide economic and qualified tools to customers.
2000 - 2001 - Scientech opened its Shanghai and Tianjin operations in China.
2002 - Singapore office opened in May
2003 - Suzhou, China, office opened in Feb..
2004 - New Hsinchu office inauguration in Jan. with total area of 3600 m²
2005 - Scientech engaged in S/W development for Defect Analysis.
2006 – Wafer Reclaim Business was established.
