Hs 918 CEM is an industrial system for direct total mercury determination in stack gas with dry converter. Designed for outdoor installation on the stack, no heated lines needed.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
Designed for outdoor installation directly on a stack the Monitor continuously measures total mercury mass concentration in stack gases, including metallic, oxidized, and particulate bound mercury species.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Oxidized mercury is completely reduced to its elemental form through the thermal conversion.
Mercury concentration is determined by Zeeman atomic absorption spectrometry using high frequency modulation of light polarization.
The Monitor presents the mercury concentration at standard conditions. Measurements are taken on hot wet basis.
