职位描述
Responsibilities:
• Within 3 months after start date - complete initial technical ramp-up, be able to recommend valid technical solutions, and correctly qualify and quote new leads.
• Within 6 months of start date - meet with all key accounts in area of responsibility and be handling all daily account management activities.
• Develop and implement plans to improve accuracy of forecasts for consolidated area of responsibility.
• Maintain Customer Dashboards and Account Development Plans for key accounts.
• Consult and collaborate with upper management, engineering, and marketing on long-term growth plans and needs for area of responsibility.
Competencies:
• Proactive sales approach – drives to number and meets commitments, stays ahead of customer demands and manages internal and external expectations
• Account management - aware of account activities and opportunities, anticipates order opportunities and promptly closes orders
• Technical understanding of spectroscopy – able to offer right solutions, understand commercial applications and markets of spectroscopy
• Forecasting – actively manages and analyzes pipeline for controlled order intake
• Communication – able to thoroughly communicate Ocean Optics vision, capabilities and key selling points, and be able to undertake multi-level negotiations
Desired Skills & Experience:
Have an in depth understanding of optics, photonics and spectroscopy and/or other related analytical measurement techniques and applications. Engineering or Science background preferred.
• 3-7+ years of commercial experiences in technical B2B sales
• Demonstrated leadership potential and entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated selling success of technical product lines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Applicant must read, write and speak English
• Location in the Beijing
• Ability to travel 25-40%
